New Rimmel Apocalips Matte Velvet Lip | Review

Since I've been absolutely loving the Apocalips lip lacquers aka show off, I decided to pick up their new “matte to the future lip velvet" and I love these even more.

These are the same as the Apocalips lip lacquers but with a matte finish which I love, being a big fan of matte lips, I couldn't wait to give these a try. The packaging is the same as the original lacquers but with a matte lid.

These are available in 5 different shades, “atomic Rose” “Meteoric mette” “Orange-Ology” “Burning Lava” and “Apollo”

The product glides onto the lips with such ease, and the finish is a velvety matte, I find that matte lip colours will often emphasize lines or dryness in the lips especially the drugstore once, but these don’t at all. The weather has been cold lately and I do have very dry lips at the moment, but these don't seem to be contributing to my dry lips.  they lasted about 4-5 hours for me before they fade down to a soft stain. When I eat, these do tend to wear down faster,so I had to re-apply.

          I would definitely recommend applying a lip liner for super precise lines around the lip.

Atomic Rose- gorgeous light peachy shade.

              

                  Burning Lava- a stunning bright true red, it's much more glossier than others. 

I only purchased two shades because I wasn't too sure if I would like them this much, now I'm defiantly going back to grab all of them. I don't think theses have arrived everywhere yet but they definitely have here in the UK.
