Decorating Easter Eggs

4.4.15

Hi lovelies, Happy Easter to you all! Today my little siblings and I were very excited to decorate some Easter eggs, rather than using hard boiled eggs we decided to use blown out eggs so they last longer, without the egg white or yolk, the eggs won't spoil.

These were super  easy, all we did was mix some gel food colouring in boiling water and dip the eggs for 5 minutes, take the eggs out and wait till they dry, use a bit of gel food colouring to stick the gems.

Or you can just use some glue if not food colouring to stick the gems like I did here.

using clear adhesive dots we sprinkled some gold and sliver glitter to create the sparkly polka dots. and pva glue to create the sparkly stripes and the half glitter eggs.

We painted this one in metallic paint and sprinkled some gold glitter. as you can maybe see that it has been smudged a little, uhhh that would be me, I couldn't wait to take a picture!

Are you doing anything special for this Easter?

Love Mev
